Wetter Metzg is a butcher and delicatessen in the heart of Appenzell. Here, the classics of the region are made by hand: Appenzeller Pantli, Siedwurst and Mostbröckli, Schüblig, ham, bacon and air-dried meat – recognised with 24 gold medals at SÜFFA.
The game comes from alpine hunting grounds above 1,000 metres – deer, roe deer and chamois as Pantli, salami, Wurzen and ready-made dishes.
Around it: Urnäscher cheese, Appenzell mountain butter, pear bread, sweets as they used to be and beer from the local Locher brewery. Online 24/7 – and in person in Appenzell, seven days a week.
